Brandon jones - Voice
Brandon has performed Off- Broadway, in National Tours and Regional Theaters across the country - including Park Playhouse! He is a private voice teacher and musical director in the Albany area, and focuses on vocal health and performance quality.
Chris Frasier - Acting
Chris is a recent BFA Musical Theatre graduate from Montclair State University. He is thrilled to be joining the 2017-2018 Park Playhouse acting company and working as a teaching artist to bring his acting knowledge to the students of the Capital Region. Favorite credits include: Ragtime (Willy Conklin, Park Playhouse), Wendy's Shadow at NYMF (Curly), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Phillip Bax/Bazzard), Hair (Woof), Threepenny Opera (Sawtooth Bob), Seussical (Horton).
Ashley-Simone Kirchner - Dance
Ashley has been with Park Playhouse in many capacities since 2010 including Dance Captain, Associate Choreographer, Choreographer, and Director. Her dance training began at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and Pennsylvania Regional Ballet. She received her BFA in Dance with a concentration in Ballet in 2010 from Marymount Manhattan College. She has taught at dance studios and theaters across the country.
Rich Johnson - Voice & Acting
Rich is the Theatre and Filmmaking teacher at The Albany Academies. He participates annually in the Broadway Teachers Workshop, and judges for the Academies' ESU Shakespeare competition. He attended the Crane School of Music at SUNY Postdam and The Music Conservatorium at the University Melbourne, Australia earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Master of Music Studies by course work in Composition and a Master of Music by research on Composition. In addition to his theatre teaching he has over twelve years experience as an Instrumental Music Director and teacher.
Lisa Franklin - Voice
Lisa Passonno Franklin has performed all over the Capital Region, in New York City and across the United States and in Europe. She has vocal studios in NYC and in Albany, and is the voice teacher of many of today's young Broadway stars. Marc de la Concha - Acting
Marc is a native of Schenectady, NY and has been working for the past 10 years as an Actor, Director, and Educator both nationally and internationally. Marc was most recently seen on the Park Playhouse stage in Singin' in the Rain. Other credits include National Tours of The Drowsy Chaperone, Peter Pan and Discover Theater: Featuring Disney's Cinderella and Disney's The Jungle Book. Marc is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Kellie SCHWEON - Dance
As a performer and choreographer, Kellie has been involved with Park Playhouse since 2013 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Marymount Manhattan College (BAs in Dance and Theatre). Kellie is the choreographer and dance instructor for the Musical Theatre Department of Regional Center for the Arts in Trumbull, CT. She has choreographed musicals for children and teens such as SideShow, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Seussical Jr.
Tim Nelson - Voice & Acting
Tim has been with Park Playhouse since 1990, and was a mainstay in helping begin the Park Playhouse II program in 1995. He is a graduate from the University of Colorado in Boulder, with graduate studies at Boston University's School for the Arts and has directed, music directed, conducted and performed in over 200 shows from California to New York. Mr. Nelson is currently the Musical Theater Chair at Huntington Beach High School's Academy for the Performing Arts in Southern California, and the Managing Director of the Rose Center Theater of Orange County, CA.
